VACATION IN TURKEY
This year’s end holiday end holiday I went on vacation with my older sister to an Asian country bordering Europe,
namely (Turkey) there we spent a week more, to visit some tourist attractions, ranging from historical tours to
culinary. On the first day we visited the “Bursa Ulu Cami Mosque” which is located in the city of bursa, Turkey. This
mosque is one of the amazing buildings that have an important role in Bursa. This mosque was also included in the
UNESCO world heritage site in 2014. The next day, we went shopping for typical Turkish souvenirs at Munira
Outlet. There are lots of chocolates and Turkish specialties Baklava. Then we continued our journey to the city of
Kusadasi by traveling 30 minutes by bus.
At that time we arrived in the city of Kusadasi in the afternoon, then we immediately had dinner at a hotel with a
beach view. After resting all night, in the morning we continued our journey to Ephesus Turkey, to Ephesus
Turkey, Ephesus often also called Ephesus in Ancient Greek City, and later became a Roman City, on the west coast
of Asia Minor. Historically this city wast lost due to an earthquake, but was later rebuilt and became one of the
“Must Visit Places” when visiting Turkey.
this is where a great figure of Sufi and Muslim philosopher Jalaluddin Rumi was buried, and
educated his student. Then after that we visited a city that is quite familliar to Indonesians,
namely Cappodacia, Turkey. There we tried hot air balloon rides and drove a jeep with quite
extreme and road tracks. We only have have one day remaining in Turkey and we return to
the city center, Instanbul.
Before returning home we spent a full day in this city. From starting to worship at the
Camlica Mosque, going to Ortakoy and shopping for souvenirs at Taksim Meydani, the most
interesting thing was that I found a typical Indonesian restaurant in that city.
Then i had lunch eating typical Indonesian oxtail soup, I am very happy that this really
cures my longing for Indonesian food.
Then in the evening I rested at the Pullman hotel, Istanbul before returning to my beloved
country Indonesia the next day
